American guard Kris Martin (194-1997, college: Colorado St., agency: Octagon Europe) nailed 25 points for the winning side and his fellow American import forward Lesley Varner Jr (201-1998, college: UTRGV) accounted for 18 points and 9 rebounds. Four Usti n/Labem players scored in double figures. The former international forward Filip Halada (194-1992) came up with 26 points and American guard Dale Bonner (188, college: Ohio St.) added 22 points respectively for Slavia in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Usti n/Labem moved-up to third place, which they share with Brno. Slavia at the other side keeps the eighth position with 14 games lost. They share it with USK Praha. Usti n/Labem will play against Olomoucko (#7) on the road in the next round. Slavia will play against Pardubice and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
